Your Library Card

Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.

  • Eligible borrowers include:
    • Adults
      • A person who has finished eighth grade or who is fourteen years of age is considered an adult
    • Children
      • A juvenile must be first grade or older and  have the signature of a parent to obtain a library card

To apply for a library card a person must show some form of identification to prove that they live in the town of Inwood or surrounding areas.

    • It is the responsibilities of the card holder to follow all rules of the library, to return all items borrowed on time and in good condition, and/or pay all required fees on overdue books and materials
  • You may use the library card to:
    • Check out books and other materials
    • Loan limits
    • Reciprocal borrowing privileges
    • returning items
    • renewing items
    • overdues, fines and billing
    • requesting an item
    • reserving an item
